Degree of Perfection
The Intermediate Degrees
of
The Ancient and Accepted Rite
The Craft degrees (EA, FC, and MM) are one of the mandatory requirements of a candidate joining the Ancient and Accepted Rite and are accepted as equivalent to degrees 1, 2, and 3 of this order.
The Ineffable Degrees (4º to 14º) are awarded in name only, as are the Historical Degrees (15º and 16º).
The first of the Philosophical Degrees (17º) is, similarly awarded without being worked.
One of the above degrees (4º to 17º) is demonstrated each by the King Edward VII Rose Croix Chapter of Improvement demonstration team, three times each year.
The Degree of Perfection (18º) however, is always fully worked for every candidate for the Ancient and Accepted Rite.
